Emerald, who recently joined our Adoption Club is now retired from our scheme due to increasing mobility issues.
If you have already adopted Emerald, you will still have access to updates about her for the rest of your adoption period. Thank you so much for your support of these amazing horses and ponies, it has meant we have been able to continue to give each and every one the chance of a happy and healthy life.
Emerald is feeling happier now she has had her medication reviewed. The team decided to increase her pain relief to help Emerald settle as her joints were becoming sorer due to the awful weather we have been having. Emerald has been very good having her teeth flossed and rinsed with mouthwash daily to help with her dental problems.
Emerald has been acting as a big sister to Genie as she lost her friend recently. Unfortunately, Emerald suffers from mud fever, but with the help from our team it is under control at the moment and she is fine. She is also currently undergoing some neurological work to see if we can find anything.
