Friend for Life Schemes – Bransby Horses NEW Youth Club Scheme
Here at Bransby Horses, we are looking for knowledgeable homes for some of our younger, inexperienced residents from the age of 8 months and up.
We welcome numerous youngsters through our doors each year, all needing to gain valuable life experience to prepare them for their working careers, either as a riding or driving horse.
The Youth Club Scheme runs very much like our standard Friend for Life Scheme, however, when the time comes for the horse to start their education, the foster agreement will be reviewed. The Rehoming Team will assess the physical, medical and behavioural state of the equine, and if all is well, the horse/pony can begin their education within their home. Bransby Horses are able to offer support and advice during this process and can provide details of local professionals that may also be able to help if required.
Maybe you have a youngster at home requiring a field companion to grow up with, or a horse young at heart wanting a friend, or maybe you’d like a project to bring on yourself?
Please see the ‘Available Horses’ page to view the equines currently available under our Youth Club Scheme.
Friend for Life Schemes – Bransby Horses NEW Veterinary Scheme
Bransby Horses is looking for loving homes for some of our older residents who would benefit from the love and care a one to one home can provide.
Our new Veterinary Scheme operates in a very similar style to our standard Friend for Life Scheme, however, we offer a care package tailored to the individual needs of each horse that leaves one of our centres. The care package could cover a number of different costs, otherwise experienced by the fosterer, including long-term medication, medical farriery and other individual requirements, to ensure a happy life for the rest of the horse’s days.
