‘Five Freedoms’ Trail & Talk on Tyrian, Alfie and Tinkerbell
May 27 @ 11:30 am – 12:00 pm

Meet and greet the tiny trio of Shetlands that arrived in November 2017 in an emaciated state and have thankfully made a full recovery. You will have the opportunity to find out more about Tyrian, Alfie and Tinkerbell and ask any questions you may have to our experienced staff who have helped with their rehabilitation.

The talk is FREE to attend but donations are kindly accepted. Please meet a member of the team at the Visitor Centre courtyard at 11.30am.

The ‘Five Freedoms’ trial is an interactive quiz around the Visitor Centre Yard where you will learn about the five freedoms of horse care including the freedom from thirst and hunger, discomfort, to express natural behaviour and freedom from fear and distress.

The quiz is £1 to enter and will run throughout the week from 10am-3.30pm. There is also a chance to win an adoption pack worth £10 when you enter the free prize draw!

‘Five Freedoms’ Trail & Paws Meet Ponies
May 28 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Bring your dog along for a guided walk around the Bransby Horses site and meet some of our equine residents. Perfect for socialising your dogs with other and to introduce them to new surroundings, plus its all in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside!

The guided tour is FREE to attend but donations are kindly accepted. Please meet a member of the team at the Visitor Centre Yard at 11am. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

Learn about the rehabilitation of some of our nerviest horses at the charity. The informative talk will give visitors an insight into how welfare staff build the confidence of horses and the process of their rehabilitation.

‘Five Freedoms’ Trail & Pony Grooming

Come along and help give the ponies their spring pamper! Pony Grooming will be at 11.30-12.15pm and again at 1.30pm-2.15pm on the Visitor Centre Yard, £1.50 for 5 minutes.

Hats will be provided but please wear suitable footwear. Adult supervision is required.

Adoption Animal Meet and Greet Day- Sparky, Digit, Jigily & Sammy
Jun 24 @ 10:30 am – 2:30 pm

Come along and meet Sparky, Digit, Jigily and Sammy on their adoption day on Sunday 24th June. The trio will be at the Visitor Centre from 1pm-4pm to visit and a meet and greet at 11.30pm-12pm and 1.30-2pm to get to know more about their histories and their care at Bransby Horses.

There will also be Glitter tattoo and Face painting in the Gift Shop/Visitor Centre Courtyard (£3 per person, a chance to win a hamper (£1 per entry) and a FREE colouring activity with the opportunity to win an adoption worth £10 (competitions to be drawn at 2.15pm)
