Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to cover maternity leave in our Finance Team.
Working with a busy team you will be completing daily and monthly accounting duties within the finance function, producing reports and any ad-hoc requirements to support the Finance Manager and wider team.
The main purpose of the role:
- To prepare accurate and timely monthly management information for budget holders
- To support the Finance Manager with the preparation of quarterly trustee reports and annual audit schedules
- To provide information, support and advice to others in the organisation as and when required
- To undertake and support day to day processing of transactions through the charity’s finance and related systems
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic that is applied with attention to detail. Being a team player is essential, as is the ability to work on own initiative. You will have significant previous accounting experience and hold a recognised accounts qualification; AAT Level 4 or equivalent or be part qualified CIMA/ACCA. This role is initially for up to one year, to cover maternity leave, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, predominantly working onsite at our Bransby site.
