Budgie is a 17 year old, 12.3hh, grey, Welsh, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion.
Babe is looking for her new fosterer who is confident and quiet and is able to take time to get to know her and allow her to settle in to her new environment and routine.
Babe would benefit from a consistent routine and lots of in hand walks to help manage her weight and interact with her new fosterer.
Babe is a very loving mare and would thrive in a one to one home.
Babe is a very sweet mare and a good girl to do in all ways, she can be nervous at times so requires a quiet but confident handler who would like to take the time to get to know her and give her a consistent routine and lots of attention!
Stabling/Shelter: Babe currently lives out 24/7 with access to a field shelter, she will happily stable with forage and a friend in sight, she can become unsettled if stabled alone.
Companionship: Babe loves to be with her friends and always needs to be with a companion. Babe is passive within the herd and sits towards the bottom of the herd dynamics and currently lives within a small herd of mares.
Forage/Feed: Babe is currently on grazing 24/7 and has a hay/straw mix when grazing becomes too sparse.
Medication: N/A
Farrier: Babe is a good girl for the farrier, she is barefoot and has is trimmed every 6-8weeks.
Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure. Babe requires 6monthly dentals.
Vices: N/A
Vet: Babe is a good for the vet and with needles she may need some snacks when injecting.
